Aiden Taylor
HR Consultant
Aiden is a CIPD Level 5 qualified HR Consultant who brings a calm, practical and people-focused approach to supporting clients and their teams. Drawing on a background in the Royal Navy and experience across both the public and charitable sectors, he combines strong organisational skills with a genuine passion for helping people and businesses succeed.
Aiden began his career in 2017 within the Royal Navy’s Submarine Service, where he held a variety of administrative and management roles. During his time in the Armed Forces, he developed a strong foundation in people administration, process management, leadership support and operational coordination, culminating in his role as Office Supervisor at 42 Commando Royal Marines. Working in demanding and fast-paced environments taught him the importance of professionalism, adaptability and maintaining a level-headed approach, even under pressure.
Since transitioning into civilian HR, Aiden has continued to build his expertise across a broad range of people matters. He supports clients with day-to-day HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, absence management, employee relations, policy implementation, HR administration and manager guidance. He also assists with disciplinary and grievance processes, investigations and performance management matters, helping businesses navigate employee issues with confidence and consistency.
Known for his approachable nature and steady temperament, Aiden is often the person colleagues and clients turn to when they need practical support and a clear perspective. He takes pride in building positive relationships and believes that effective HR is about listening, understanding individual circumstances and finding solutions that work for everyone involved.
Aiden works closely with both the HR2day team and our clients, providing reliable support across a wide range of HR projects and activities. His willingness to help, collaborative approach and commitment to delivering excellent service make him a valued part of the business.
Outside of work, Aiden enjoys exploring the countryside, walking on the moors and travelling around the UK, always looking for new places to discover and experience.
