Nicky is the founder and Managing Director of HR2day and has spent more than two decades helping businesses build stronger, more successful organisations through their people.
With extensive experience across a wide range of sectors, from SMEs and owner-managed businesses to large private sector organisations, Nicky is known for her ability to quickly understand the challenges facing a business and provide practical, commercially focused solutions that deliver lasting results. Her approach is straightforward, honest and action-oriented, helping business owners and leaders make confident decisions that support both their people and their bottom line.
Throughout her career, Nicky has operated at senior leadership level, including within the highly demanding oil and gas industry, where she partnered with executive teams on complex people and organisational challenges. This experience gives her a deep understanding of the commercial realities businesses face and the critical role that people strategy plays in driving performance, profitability and growth.
Nicky specialises in developing people strategies that align with business objectives, helping organisations attract, retain and develop talent while creating cultures where individuals and teams can thrive. She regularly advises business owners, directors and senior leaders on organisational design, leadership development, succession planning, change management, business growth, acquisitions, restructures and complex employee relations matters.
As the lead for HR2day’s Fractional HR Director service, Nicky works closely with businesses that require strategic HR leadership without the commitment of a full-time senior hire. Acting as a trusted adviser and extension of the leadership team, she helps organisations navigate growth, manage change, strengthen leadership capability and create people strategies that support long-term commercial success.

Holding an MA in HR Management, CIPD Level 7 qualifications and Fellowship status with the CIPD, Nicky combines extensive technical expertise with real-world business experience.
